Edgar Paysant
edgar.paysant@sciencespo.frEdgar is preparing a dissertation in Political Science, specialising in International Relations, on non-conventional military operations, particularly domestic deployments such as Vigipirate/Sentinelle. His research examines security and civil-military relations from the perspective of its professionals, especially military personnel, in order to understand the everyday, routine, micro-level, intimate and lived dimensions of international relations.
He was an intern at the Palestinian Academic Society for the Study of International Affairs (PASSIA) in Jerusalem, and a research assistant at CERI (Sciences Po/CNRS), working on the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL).
