In 2018, for the first time, the number of candidates applying to Sciences Po exceeded the 20,000 mark. Since 2009, the number of international applications has tripled. This year, the top 10 countries of origin of our admitted candidates via the international procedure, are: the United States, Germany, Italy, India, China, Canada, Great Britain, Brazil, Mexico, and Switzerland.
The 2017 admissions report confirms Sciences Po’s attractiveness, with nearly 17,000 candidates in total and international students in particular applying in increasing numbers. The success of our Master’s programmes is also underscored with a 6 percent rise in applications to our seven graduate schools.
The 2016 admissions report confirms Sciences Po's increasing attractiveness at all levels of study, with a total increase in applications of 7 percent compared to 2015. The number of applicants for each of the admissions procedures—entrance exam, international procedure and the Equal Opportunity programme—has risen.
