[Club 150] DC - Conversation with Amb. Rama Yade

The Sciences Po American Foundation is pleased to invite you to a Conversation with Amb. Rama Yade (Senior Director-Africa Center, Atlantic Council) on Wednesday February 5th from 6-8pm [location to be confirmed, downtown DC]

Amb. Rama Yade is senior director of the Atlantic Council’s Africa Center and senior fellow for the Europe Center. She is also a professor of African affairs at Mohammed VI Polytechnic University in Morocco and at Sciences Po Paris. Prior to joining the Council, she was a consultant for the World Bank. At the age of thirty, she was appointed as the deputy minister for foreign affairs and human rights of the Republic of France: the first ever French minister for human rights and the first woman of African descent to become a member of the French cabinet.

She will be joined by Sciences Po's President, Luis Vassy, in his first visit to DC since his appointment to the position last fall.
