Gala 2025

On May 6, 2025, the Sciences Po American Foundation will honor Catherine MacGregor with the Stanley Hoffmann Award at its 2025 Annual Benefit dinner in New York. One of the underlying themes across Hoffmann’s decades of analysis of transatlantic relations and European affairs was the vital importance of decisive management. With this award, we hope to recognize MacGregor’s visionary thinking and leadership in steering Engie through a transformative period focused on renewable energy and the transition to net-zero emissions.

Catherine MacGregor, Chief Executive Officer of ENGIE will engage in a dialogue about the Challenges to address the transition towards a carbon-neutral economy.

The Gala supports our mission to heighten the awareness of Sciences Po in the United States and bring its spectacular reputation as a vital voice and convener of political thought in Europe. We support students from the United States studying at Sciences Po and encourage Sciences Po researchers to engage in transatlantic dialogue and collaboration with peers in any U.S. university. Our ambition is to amplify Sciences Po's transatlantic collaboration.
