Why a page devoted to works connecting law and gender ? To promote the library's recent acquisitions in the important and interrelated fields of study that address many social issues (abortion/reproductive rights, gender equality, women in law, discrimination, LGBT+ rights, violence against women, amongst others).

These books, articles and audiovisual materials also shed light on the ways in which the law acts as a tool for numerous social movements.

This interdisciplinary selection, compiled by three reference librarians (audiovisual, law, sociology), will be updated several times a year. Feel free to come back and check it out regularly!
