CDSP’s contributions

How to set up and configure a Dataverse repository that suits your needs

This workshop provided a summary of practical knowledge about the DDI documentation standard and provided specific practical examples of the implementation of the Dataverse open-source research data repository that CDSP has set up for data.sciencespo .

The material from this workshop is available online: Danciu, Alina, Michaud, Geneviève, & Rouxel, Baptiste. (2022, June 8). Documenting a social network survey : lessons learned and ongoing challenges

Valentin BRUNEL, a design engineer in the Documentation-Dissemination team, presented the documentation produced for the dissemination of the Caen panel survey. This survey, which is both network-focused and longitudinal, raises a number of methodological challenges. Its documentation enabled CDSP to implement a new approach, so-called modular documentation, which makes it possible to add a number of interconnected files to a data file.

Strategy to document and disseminate longitudinal surveys: case study of using DDI-Lifecycle and Colectica

Lucie MARIE, a design engineer in the Documentation-Dissemination team, presented the documentation procedure employed in a project for the creation of a question bank that meets the DDI-LifecycIe standard (UpMet, WP2), as well as the new developments planned for the exploration of electoral survey metadata via CSDS Colectica portal
