Data.SciencesPo: an open databank
The CDSP is disseminating its data through the data.sciencespo.fr platform. You will find the CDSP’s catalog.
A catalogue of varied data
CDSP’s Databank has historically consisted of a large number of major French sociopolitical surveys as well as quantitative and qualitative surveys conducted by researchers in sociology and political science on topics as varied as science, the environment, health, sexuality, cultural practices, intergenerational relations, etc.

Compliance with FAIR principles
The new data.sciencespo.fr platform enhances access to the datasets and allows them to be referenced by search engines. It also indicates when they have been reused by means of a permanent identifier (DOI), in compliance with FAIR principles.
Access to the data is restricted to the scientific community (researchers, students, engineers…) and includes checks on pseudonymised data. The CC BY 4.0 SA license is used.
In addition, the datasciencespo.fr platform enhances the visibility of data deposited with CDSP. This is because the metadata in CDSP’s catalogue are harvested by a number of major French and international platforms: CESSDA, ISIDORE, OpenAire.

Addressed to the research community
The conditions of access to the data do not change: evidence of membership of the research community must be provided with all applications and are then manually checked by CDSP engineers. Applicants must accept the general terms and conditions of use of the database. The description of the research project and a manual signature will no longer be needed
