She worked as a science journalist and taught Life and Earth Sciences at secondary level, before joining the French National Centre for Scientific Research (CNRS) in 2014.
Originally recruited as a press officer in the communications department of the CNRS, Véronique spent eight years promoting the work of the organisation’s researchers in a huge range of disciplines – from climate science and the physics of the infinite to the humanities and social sciences – to both French and international media outlets.

Véronique has been the CEE’s Knowledge Exchange Officer since September 2022. Her role is to publicise research by both junior and senior members of the centre to a wide variety of audiences.
Véronique’s responsibilities in this capacity include:

- Sharing CEE-related news and content via different channels (website, social media, newsletters, the CNRS and Sciences Po communications departments, partners, etc.).
- Writing and editing content for the CEE website and monthly newsletter, and helping to run the centre’s social media accounts (X, Bluesky and LinkedIn).
- Media relations.
- Developing partnerships for off-campus events.
- Promoting knowledge exchange initiatives among researchers (e.g. publication of articles in The Conversation, participation in events such as the Fête de la science (FR), etc).
- Assisting in the writing of popularised articles and translation of articles from English into French.
- Advising on matters of knowledge exchange and research promotion to non-academic audiences.
- Evaluating and reporting on the impact of these activities.
In 2024, Véronique joined the editorial committee for Sciences Po’s research magazine.
Véronique is also acting as a Gender Equality Officer (CNRS role) and an Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Ambassador (Sciences Po role) at the CEE.
Finally, as a “Climate Fresk” facilitator, Véronique has led workshops in French at both Sciences Po and at the CNRS.
