Prof Manuel Eisner's career is marked by an original sociological perspective on the study of violence and homicide. His work was pioneering and is a milestone in the literature, demonstrating how the long-term construction of nation states produces a significant reduction in interpersonal violence. The presentation in the CEE follows up on this perspective, discussing data that has not yet been published.
