Cross-disciplinary themes
Several cross-cutting themes permeate the work carried out at CEE and are instilled in each of the research axes:
- Europe and the European Union
- Environmental transformations
- And, to a lesser extent, digital transformations. The CEE has actively engaged in this field, with a dedicated position within its permanent team (Caterina Froio focusing on the digital practices of political groups), a Cities and Digital technology Chair created in collaboration with Sciences Po Urban School (Patrick Le Galès, Antoine Courmont), and the H2020 COESO project (Dominique Boullier, Jessica Pidoux).
The methodologies employed at CEE are diverse, with many researchers using mixed methods. The comparative method is a distinctive feature of the centre's identity.
