I defended my political science thesis in December 2016 (Urban Data Policies, What Open Data Does to Urban Governance), conducted at the CEE under the supervision of Dominique Boullier. This thesis was part of a Cifre agreement with the Lyon Metropolis, where I held positions as a mission officer for open data from 2012 to 2015, and later as a mission officer for prospective public policies between 2016 and 2017. My thesis received the 2017 Urban Thesis Prize awarded by PUCA-Apereau.
In spring 2017, I continued my research at the Centre for European Studies and Comparative Politics as part of a post-doctoral fellowship. I served as the scientific director of the Cities and Digital Chair at the Urban School, aimed at developing research and teaching on the impact of digital technology on territorial governance. During this time, I closely collaborated with Patrick Le Galès and all the researchers in the Cities, Borders, and (Im)mobilities axis of the laboratory.
Between 2019 and 2022, while continuing to lead the scientific direction of the Cities and Digital Chair, I held a position as a digital sociologist at the CNIL Digital Innovation Laboratory. This allowed me to continue my research on the transformations of the state and capitalism in the digital age, through the lens of personal data regulation and the protection of freedoms.
In September 2023, I was appointed as a lecturer in planning and urbanism at Gustave Eiffel University, within the Urbanism School of Paris and the Laboratory of Techniques, Territories, and Societies (LATTS).
