Research Activities

I defended my thesis in September 2019 at the Center for European Studies (CEE) under the supervision of Virginie Guiraudon. The title of my thesis was "The 'migrant cause': a transnational moment? (1990-2014): migration issues at the heart of the restructuring of security and transnational fields over the long term."

I recently published a chapter focusing on the historical section of my thesis in the collective handbook titled "Research Handbook on the Institutions of Global Migration Governance."

Since then, my research themes have diversified, consistently revolving around migration issues. They mainly include:

1. Migration Governance: the role of non-governmental organizations, Euro-African cooperation on migration issues.

2. Visibility issues and recognition of associations of exiled individuals in France (European comparison).

3. Information/misinformation issues in the public debate on migration in France and internationally (Germany, Italy, Spain in Europe, and West Africa).

I continue these research pursuits within the framework of collective research projects, such as my participation in the PACE project from 2019 to 2023, and also through consulting for various organizations (Unesco, Foundation of the Maison des Sciences de l’Homme, French Development Agency, Deutsche Welle Akademie…)

In addition to conducting studies for these organizations, I also offer knowledge dissemination missions (through public events, in particular) and project coordination.
