PhD Candidate

Thalia Creac’h earned a double Bacherlor's degree in history and political science. She then graduated from Science's Po Research School with a Master in Comparative Politics. She is currently working on a PhD thesis at the University of Milano-Bicocca (urban studies laboratory URBEUR) and at Sciences Po (Centre for European Studies and Comparative Politics), jointly supervised by Bruno Cousin at Sciences Po and Fabio Quassoli at Milano-Bicocca. Thalia's thesis is a continuation of her Master dissertation and is based on a comparison between two districts, one in Marseille, France and the other in Liverpool, UK. She analyses conflicts of uses between groups and modes of appropriation in spaces that are multifunctional, in the process of gentrification and subject to urban regeneration policies.
