Visiting PhD Candidate
Aimie Bouju, is currently writing her doctoral thesis on immigrant-origin candidates for the 2017 German Federal Election under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Andreas Blätte. Parallel to her doctoral project, she has been working as a research scientist at Population Europe / Max-Planck Institute for Demographic Research in Berlin since autumn 2015. In the past, she studied European and Cultural Studies at the European University Viadrina (Germany) and the University of Valencia (Spain).
Research interests
Political participation of immigrant-origin citizens, candidate selection processes, German political parties.
Research project.s you intend to pursue at the CEE
The time spent at CEE should be dedicated to writing the theoretical framework of the doctoral project.
