marina.calculli@sciencespo.frMarina Calculli est chercheuse en Relations Internationales. Sa recherche se situe à la croisée des relations internationales, de l'histoire, du droit et de la théorie politique. Elle se concentre sur la sécurité au Moyen-Orient, la violence politique et le rôle des idées religieuses et séculaires dans la politique internationale.
Elle est Marie Skłodowska-Curie Global Fellow au Centre de Recherches Internationales (CERI) de Sciences Po Paris et au Département de Middle Eastern, South-Asian and African Studies (MESAAS) de Columbia University à New York.
Elle est actuellement en congé de l'Université de Leiden, où elle est Professeure Adjointe en Relations Internationales à la Faculté des Sciences Humaines.
Dans ses projets précédents, elle a exploré la coopération et la rivalité entre les États et les acteurs islamistes dans le système international, le rôle des groupes armés non étatiques et la justification morale de la violence politique.
