Our collaborative project PLURISPACE is coming to an end. Ricard Zapata-Barrero will discuss the intercultural policy paradigm from a conceptual and policy point of view at the city and regional
scale, compare how U.S. cities and States manage diversity, which normative perspectives they follow, and how interculturalism can be a common ground of dialogue between Europe and U.S. cities.

Intersectionality of concepts for the management of diversity and the perception of civil society
We talked with Riva Kastoryano, leader of the project and our principal investigators Tariq Modood, John Erik Fossum and Ricard Zapata-Barrero about the four concepts that are at the core of PLURISPACE project (multiculturalism, interculturalism, transnationalism and cospomolitanism) and how they are connected, as well as to some empirical outcomes.
