Elie Cohen
Emeritus Researcher
Elie Cohen is a graduate (summa cum laude) of Sciences Po (Economics and Finance) - 1972). He holds a doctorate in management (Université Paris-Dauphine) and a HDR (a post-doctoral French qualification allowing the holder to supervise doctoral theses) in political science.
He is a CNRS emeritus Senior Researcher at the CEVIPOF, and a member of the Prime Minister's Conseil d'analyse économique (CAE).
His expertise ranges from industrial economics to public policy and from international economics to the political economy of innovation. With Le Nouvel Age du Capitalisme, he has completed a series of books on the different aspects of globalization.
In recent years, he has conducted research in collaboration with Harvard and Bruegel on growth policies and European integration. He has also carried out numerous expert missions for the European Commission, the UNDP, UNESCO, the EIB and others.
Last but not least, he has published a series of works on public policy for the CAE, ranging from the auction procedure in public actions to public service, higher education and industrial policies.
