Flora Chanvril-Ligneel
Flora Chanvril holds a Master’s degree in Mathematical Engineering for Life Sciences.
She has worked as a statistician at CEVIPOF since 2008.
In that capacity, she provides methodological support for all research projects that involve quantitative data processing for publication. She is a specialist in electoral analysis and geometrical data analysis, and currently works on political trust.
She is co-coordinator of the Sciences Po MetSem seminar and organized a methodological workshop on the Yellow Vest movement and the Grand débat national in January 2020. Part of her job also involves the promotion and diffusion of knowledge. She has co-published a statistical handbook with Viviane Le Hay (Méthodes statistiques pour les sciences sociales, Ellipses, 2014) and since 2008 she has been teaching statistics and methodology at Sciences Po and at Université Paris V.
In 2019 she designed a class entitled “Initiation to Quantitative Analysis” which she teaches at Sciences Po.
