Florent PARMENTIER
Florent Parmentier holds a PhD in political science.
He is Secretary-General of CEVIPOF (the CNRS-affiliated centre for research in political science at Sciences Po), where he is in charge of the implementation, development and promotion of the centre’s research policy. As such, he is in charge of managing recruitment, training, evaluation, coordination, budget monitoring and supervision of resources.
Before joining the CEVIPOF in November 2019, he was a programme manager at Sciences Po’s School of Public Affairs where he managed the Policy Lab and a number of academic programmes (Security and Defense, Energy, Cultural Policies, Health, Public Administration and Local Authorities) and the School’s double-degrees with HEC and Saint-Cyr. Florent lectures in European Geopolitics, Foresight Analysis and Futures Literacy at Sciences Po and is an associate researcher at the HEC Centre for Geopolitics.
After finishing his PhD, he made short research visits to the universities of Beida (Beijing), Fudan (Shanghai) and CEDS (Antananarivo).
