Frédérik Cassor
Frédérick Cassor is a statistician who trained at the IUT (Institut Universitaire de Technologie) of the Université Descartes Paris 5. He continued his training at the CNAM (Conservatoire national des Arts et Métiers) and received a Master’s in Statistics from that institution.
Frédérik is affiliated to the CNRS and joined the CEVIPOF in October 2011 as assistant engineer.
He provides methodological support for the centre’s research activities, with such support ranging from defining the object of quantitative surveys to disseminating the results, processing the data, and promoting them through publication in reviews and presentations in academic colloquia.
He is involved in disseminating new knowledge on methods for geometric data analysis, notably through the publication of his contribution to a manual on methodologies: Empirical Investigations of Social Space, J. Blasius et al., Springer, 2019. He is joint leader of the Methodology in Social Science seminar - MetSem at Sciences Po (https://metsem.hypotheses.org/).
Prior to joining CEVIPOF, Frédérik worked as a statistician for the INRA (Institut National de la Recherche Agronomique) assisting a team of epidemiologists working on food behaviours in France.
