Melis Akdag
Melis Akdag holds a joint PhD in political science from the University of Geneva and Sciences Po (Cevipof). She defended her thesis at the University of Geneva in 2023.
She currently teaches at Sciences Po's Menton campus. She holds a master’s degree in political science and a bachelor’s degree in modern French language and literature and philosophy from the University of Geneva. She continued her research at Oxford University and has taught at the University of Geneva and Sciences Po Paris.
Her research focuses mainly on political legitimacy and contemporary protest movements, mainly in Turkey and the surrounding region.
