Nicolas Sormani
Nicolas Sormani is a statistician-economist who graduated from ENSAE in 2007 and from Sciences Po in 2009.
His speciality is quantitative analysis techniques, particularly in economic forecasting and prospective methods. He has helped organizations collect, analyse and forecast data, as well as model economic and social phenomena that allow them to better understand their environment, take better decisions and prepare future courses of action. He joined CEVIPOF in February 2020.
His role is to contribute to surveys conducted in the centre's research areas by collecting, cleaning and harmonising databases and creating figures and statistical models to explore and analyse such data. Prior to joining CEVIPOF, Nicolas worked at the UN Department of Economic and Social Affairs and the French Treasury Department. He has also spent time working for a private sector business union and as a consultant.
