Thesis working title : Decoding societal divides: Affective polarisation through caste, religion, linguistic identity and politics in India
The thesis focuses on identity and polarisation in India. Using the theoretical framework of affective polarisation, the study examines caste, religion, linguistic identity, and support for Modi. It employs mixed methods, including a survey experiment and semi-structured interviews.
