Sylvain Brouard
Sylvain Brouard holds a degree and doctorate in political science from the Institut d'études politiques de Bordeaux, and has been a research fellow at CEVIPOF since 2003.
His research focuses on legislative processes in contemporary democracies and political behavior. Together with Vincent Tiberj, he directed the survey "Rapport au politique des Français issus de l'immigration" (Relationship to politics among French people from immigrant backgrounds), and has spoken in particular on the determinants of left-wing alignment among new French citizens, the politicization of the Constitutional Council and control of the parliamentary agenda in France.
