Yoel Mitrani
Yoel Mitrani is a doctoral candidate in Political Theory at CEVIPOF – Sciences Po. His primary research interest focuses on modern intellectual history and the history of concepts. His doctoral dissertation explores uses of the concept of ‘Genius’ in 18th and early 19th century political thought in Britain and France. He teaches the history of political thought at Sciences Po and has held visiting research posts at the research centre for Modern European History at the University of Oxford and at the Department of Politics and International Studies at the University of Cambridge.
Thesis working title: La centralité du concept de génie et de son changement de rôle dans le discours politique victorien, 1840-1870.
