Various immersive programmes
The European Week
The event takes place once per academic year at one of the participating universities. This multifaceted program includes not only academic content but also hands-on interaction with community-based organizations, active engagement with local organizations and, of course, collaboration with other CIVICA Engage students from across the Alliance.

The Engage Courses
Open to selected outgoing Sciences Po Bachelor students studying at one of the partner universities of the CIVICA network (cf. Bocconi University, the London School of Economics and Political Science, or the Stockholm School of Economics), the courses are focused on the relevance and challenges of civic and social engagement in contemporary society. This experience will come as the logical continuation of the student’s involvement in the Sciences Po Civic Learning Program.

The CIVICA Independent Project
Open to incoming students admitted at Sciences Po during their exchange year, the purpose is to let students understand citizenship from different perspectives through a multidisciplinary, comparative, “Learn by Doing” approach with which students learn to think critically while acting for the common good. Students are asked to participate in the design and implementation of an off-campus civic internship involving social action and solidarity, co-created with an existing host organization (e.g. NGOs, local associations, etc.).
