Louna Martin, a Bachelor's student on the Paris campus, is the VP of L'artimuse, a student sailing association.
Who did you meet and why did you enroll in this experience?
I met dozens of students from all over Europe. I joined this experience because I knew it would be enriching, and I wasn't disappointed!
Through the wonderful values of sports, I shared some memorable moments. This year, I was the vice-president of L'artimuse on the Paris campus, an association focused on sailing and marine issues. I loved sharing my passion during the organised regatta.
Other Sciences Po students participated as representatives of sports teams and music associations.
Did you enjoy meeting other European students?
The trip was fantastic, and the organisation was excellent. I had the chance to meet many European students, which I thoroughly enjoyed. These encounters allowed me to explore diverse perspectives and cultures.
Compared to Sciences Po, the international atmosphere was even more pronounced, and the diversity of student backgrounds was remarkable. The rich exchanges fostered hopes for exciting future projects.
Do you think initiatives such as CIVICA are important?
Initiatives like CIVICA are essential for fostering collaboration and creating bonds among European students. These programmes help cultivate a sense of belonging to a European community and encourage the exchange of ideas and knowledge.
They play a crucial role in building a strong, lasting network among future European leaders. For instance, I discussed a sports project with events at various universities, an ecological awareness sailing cruise, and forming a European music group.
