Kyle HERKENHOFF is Senior Research Economist at the Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis and Assistant Professor at the University of Minnesota (UNM). He is also a Visiting Scholar at the Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia’s Consumer Finance Institute, a Faculty Research Fellow at the National Bureau of Economic Research (NBER), a Research Fellow at the Institute for the Study of Labor (IZA), and member of the Markets Network of the Human Capital and Economic Opportunity (HCEO) Global Working Group.

His research fields span macroeconomics, empirical macroeconomics, consumer finance, and real estate economics. He is especially interested in the interaction between labour and consumer credit markets.

Kyle HERKENHOFF will present a paper, joint with J. Carter BRAXTON, Jonathan ROTHBAUM, and Lawrence SCHMIDT, at the next Departmental Seminar on the theme:
