Ashesh Rambachan is Assistant Professor at the Department of Economics of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) since 2023. Prior to joining MIT, he was a Postdoctoral Researcher at Microsoft Research New England. He was awarded his PhD in Economics in 2022 by Harvard. 

His research interests are primarily in theoretical and applied econometrics with a focus on applications of machine learning in economics and causal inference.

Ashesh Rambachan will present a paper, joint with Sendhil Mullainathan, at the next Econometrics Seminar on the topic:
