Stéphane BONHOMME is the Ann L. and Lawrence B. Buttenwieser Professor in Economics and the College at the University of Chicago which he joined in 2013. He is also a Fellow of the Econometric Society. Among his editorial duties he has just been named Editor of Quantitative Economics and is a Member of the Editorial Board of the Journal of Economic Methods.

His research focuses on microeconometrics and econometric theory, with a special interest in latent variable modeling and panel data, and labour economics. He has received important grants from both the National Science Foundation (NSF) and the European Research Council (ERC).
