Roy-ADRES Seminar - Dec 4th

Christopher Sandmann

Christopher SANDMANN is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Economics at the London School of Economics (LSE) since 2021. Prior to joining the LSE, he was a Postdoctoral Research Associate at Princeton.

His research explores how search frictions affect sorting in matching markets such as the labour market. He has studied the rationale behind sparse product lines, and worked on higher-order beliefs—beliefs about other players' beliefs—and their manipulation in games of incomplete information. More recent work explores menu pricing in oligopolistic and competitive environments.

Christopher Sandmann will present a paper, joint with Dakang Huang, at the next Roy-ADRES Seminar on the topic:

Market Structure and Adverse Selection (read abstract, PDF 72.34 KB)
