Roy-ADRES Seminar - Oct 16th

Nick Netzer

Nick NETZER is Full Professor at the Department of Economics and Vice Dean for Education and Teaching at the Faculty of Business, Economics and Informatics of the University of Zurich (EZH). He was an Associate Editor of the European Economic Review up until last year.

His research interests include decision theory, game theory, behavioural economics. More specifically, he is interested in the decision processes underlying choice under uncertainty and how they affect the quality of daily decisions. He also studies more broadly how people’s goals can be elicited from their behavior and how their choices can be improved. He has applied behavioural insights to the design of incentives, auctions, and markets. He is currently working on a 3-year project Improving Welfare by Increasing Attention that is generously supported by the Alfred P. Sloan Foundation and NOMIS Foundation (joint with Philippe Tobler).

Nick NETZER will present a paper, joint with Arthur Robson, Jakub Steiner, and Pavel Kocourek, at the next Roy-ADRES Seminar on the topic:
