Giacomo Lanzani

Giacomo LANZANI is currently a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Harvard Department of Economics. He graduated with a Ph.D. in Economics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in June 2023. - in 2025, he will join the Berkeley Department of Economics as an Assistant Professor.

He works on microeconomic theory, particularly learning and decision theory. His works has already received a number of awards: in 2023 he was awarded the Best Student Paper at EC23 and Exemplary Theory Track Paper at EC23 for "Dynamic Concern for Misspecification". He was also the recipient of the 2023 Robert M. Solow Prize for Graduate Student Excellence in Teaching and Research.  He was one of the international job market candidates selected to participate in the Review of Economic Studies European Tour 2023 and in the China Star Tour (differed to 2024).

Giacomo Lanzani will present a paper, joint with Drew Fudenburg and Philipp Strack, at our first Roy-ADRES Seminar of the year on the theme:
