Portrait of Laura Khoury

Laura Khoury is Assistant Professor (tenure track) at the University Paris Dauphine-PSL. She is also a Research Affiliate at the Institute of Labor Economics (IZA), the Labour Chair (Paris School of Economics) and the Institut des Politiques Publiques (IPP).  She is a Member of the Scientific Committee of the French Unemployment Insurance (France Travail). Prior to joining Paris Dauphine, she was a Postdoctoral Researcher in Labour Economics and Economics of Crime at the Centre for Experimental Research on Fairness, Inequality and Rationality (FAIR) of the Norwegian School of Economics (NHH). 

Her research interests are in public economics, labour economics, and economics of crime. Her doctoral thesis was awarded several distinctions in 2020, and notably the Best Ph.D. Dissertation Award by the French Economic Association (AFSE).
