Portrait of Mikhail Golosov

Mikhail Golosov is the Homer J. Livingston Professor in Economics and the College at the University of Chicago since 2017. Prior to joining the University of Chicago, he held positions at Princeton University, Yale University and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). He is also a Fellow of the Econometric Society and a distinguished CESifo Affiliate. He is currently co-editor of the American Economic Review

His research covers topics in macroeconomics, public finance and political economy. He publishes regularly in the leading international reviews and has been awarded a number of awards for teaching, mentoring and for his research. He was notably awarded the Sloan Research Fellowship as well as the National Science Foundation CAREER Grant
