Olivia Tsoutsoplidi is a PhD Candidate in Economics at Sciences Po working on a thesis entitled Essays in Historical Political Economy under the supervision of Julia Cagé. She is also an affiliated researcher at the Laboratory for Interdisciplinary Evaluation of Public Policies (LIEPP). She is currently a Visiting Research Fellow at Harvard University sponsored by Claudia Goldin for the academic year 2024-2025.

Her research interests are in Political Economy, Economic History and Development Economics.
