Cristina Gualdani is Associate Professor of Economics at Queen Mary University of London​​'s School of Economics and Finance. She is an Associate Faculty member at the Toulouse School of Economics (TSE), where she began her academic career as an Assistant Professor from 2017 to 2021. She is also a Research Associate at CeMMAP. Starting in January 2025, she will serve as an editorial board member for The Review of Economic Studies. Formerly, she was an Economist of the Bank of Italy's Financial Stability Directorate.

Her research fields are in econometrics, empirical industrial organisation, and network economics. She was awarded this year an UK Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC) New Investigator Grant for her 4-year project Econometric Analysis of Dynamic Games with Limited Information.
