Portrait of Andreas Kleiner

Andreas Kleiner is Professor of Economics at the University of Bonn since 2023. Prior to that, he was a faculty member of the W.P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University. He is equally affiliated to the University of Bonn's Institute for Microeconomics, ECONtribute, and to the Hausdorff Center for Mathematics.

His research focuses on mechanism design, game theory, and information economics. He was awarded a National Science Foundation (NSF) funding for three years for his project Veto Bargaining: Delegation and Non-Coasian Dynamics which he completed in 2023. He has also been distinguished both for his teaching and for his refereeing. In 2025, he is an invited speaker to the Econometric Society's World Congress in Seoul.
