Departmental Seminar - Jun 24th

Ilyana KUZIEMKO is the Theodore A. Wells ’29 Professor of Economics, the Co-Director of the Griswold Center for Economic Policy Studies, and the Co-Director of the Princeton Program in Public Finance at Princeton University. She is a Fellow of the Econometric Society and a Faculty Research Associate at the National Bureau of Economic Research (NBER). Prior to joining Princeton in 2014, she was the David W. Zalaznick Associate Professor of Business at the Columbia School of Business. From 2009-10, she served as Assistant Secretary for Economic Policy at the U.S. Department of the Treasury, where she worked primarily on the development and early implementation of the Affordable Care Act.

Her research interests include inequality and redistributive preferences, criminal justice, and health care.
