The Department is pleased to be hosting the second annual research conference of the World Bank Group's International Finance Corporation (IFC) on the topic:

Digitalization and Development

This two-day conference will bring together leading academics, policymakers, industry representatives, and international organisations (World Bank, EBRD, IMF, Unesco, ...) to discuss the policy implications for digital transformation in emerging markets and developing economies.

Keynote Speakers :

• Esther DUFLO, Professor of Economics at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), Co-founder and co-director of the Abdul Latif Jameel Poverty Action Lab (J-PAL)
• Tavneet SURI, Professor of Applied Economics at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology's Sloan School of Management
