Diego de Sousa Rodrigues is a PhD candidate in Economics at the Department working on a thesis entitled Three Essays on the Role of Income Fluctuations for the Macroeconomy, under the supervision of Xavier Ragot. He is one of the Department's job market candidates this year.

His research interests are primarily in macroeconomics, heterogeneous agents, heterogeneous firms, fiscal policy & monetary policy. His secondary fields are optimal policies, business fluctuations, international lending and debt problems.
