Paul Bouscasse is Assistant Professor (tenure track) of Economics at Sciences Po. He joined the Department in 2023. He received a PhD in Economics from Columbia University in 2022 and was a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of Cambridge in 2022-23.

His research lies at the intersection of macroeconomics, international finance, and economic history. He has worked on currency devaluations, the beginning of modern economic growth, and interactions between monetary and fiscal policies.

Portrait of Felipe Saffie

Felipe SAFFIE is Visiting Faculty, on leave from University of Virginia's Darden School of Business where he is an Assistant Professor of Business Administration since 2020. He is also a Faculty Research Fellow at the National Bureau of Economic Research (NBER), and an Associate Editor at the Journal of Monetary Economics.

His research belong to the intersection of international finance, firm dynamics and economic growth. Methodologically, he combines empirical work with quantitative theory using granular data to understand aggregate phenomena.
