Quitzé Valenzuela-Stookey is Assistant Professor at the University of California at Berkeley (UC Berkeley) since 2022. Prior to joining UC Berkeley's faculty, he was a Postdoctoral Associate at Duke University. He holds a PhD in Economics from Northwestern University.

His main interests lie in the field of economic theory. He is particularly interested in mechanism and market design, with an emphasis on applications. His work covers topics in market-based policy design, allocation mechanisms, platform markets, and bounded rationality.
