Portrait of Joan Monràs

Joan Monràs is Full Professor of Economics at Universitat Pompeu Fabra (UPF) and an Associate Research Professor of the Barcelona School of Economics (BSE). He is also Research Fellow at the Centre for Economic Policy Research (CEPR), a Research Associate at the Institute of Labor Economics (IZA), at the Centre for Research and Analysis of Migration (CReAM), and at the Centre de Recerca en Economia Internacional (CREI). He has been a Research Advisor to the United States Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco, a Kenen Fellow at Princeton University, and, prior to joining UPF-BSE, he taught at CEMFI and Sciences Po.

His research interests include labour economics, urban economics, and international trade.
