Portrait of Guillaume Blanc

Guillaume Blanc is Assistant Professor at the University of Manchester since 2022. He is also the Co-Founder and Deputy Director of The Arthur Lewis Lab for Comparative Development. 

His research interests include Economic History, Growth and Development, Political Economy, Cultural Economics. He explores the role of cultural factors in the transition from stagnation to growth, as well as the institutional origins of the adoption of a common language and formation of a national identity in diverse societies.

*EXCEPTIONAL* Location: Sciences Po - Room 404
The entrance is at 27 rue Saint Guillaume: please cross the Hall ('péniche') to the garden (door to the left at the back) and walk to the building at the far end. Room 404 is on the 4th floor (there are elevators to the left, just off the café).
