We're preparing for January's job talks !

The Fall Semester is coming to a close and with it our different seminar series take a break as we gear up for the "Job Talk" season !

The Department continues to expand and is looking to recruit an Assistant Professor of Economics (tenure track) for September 2021: we will be hosting a stellar line-up of job market candidates in January - stay tuned here!

Our regular seminar series will resume for the most part in March 2021 but we can already announce that:

• the Banque de France / Sciences Po Research Seminar will resume January 20th, with Elena CARLETTI (Bocconi);
• the Paris Trade Seminar will resume on February 16th, with Jozef KONINGS (University of Liverpool and KU Leuven)

2020 has been an extraordinary year by all standards, requiring pedagogical innovation and underscoring the importance of community. The Department has the good fortune to be endowed with both - clin d'oeil to Professor Johannes BOEHM for recreating a virtual model of the Department of Economics, and to Professor Florian OSWALD who made use of it for his advanced metrics class.
