Felipe SAFFIE
Felipe SAFFIE is visiting us from University of Virginia's Darden School of Business where he is an Assistant Professor of Business Administration since 2020. He is also a Faculty Research Fellow at the National Bureau of Economic Research (NBER), and an Associate Editor at the Journal of Monetary Economics.
Prior to joining Darden, he was Assistant Professor of Economics at the University of Maryland, just after the completion of his PhD in Economics at the University of Pennsylvania.
His research belong to the intersection of international finance, firm dynamics and economic growth. Methodologically, he combines empirical work with quantitative theory using granular data to understand aggregate phenomena.
Professor Saffie will be visiting us from August 28th, 2024 to January 10th, 2025.
