Kerstin HOLZHEU

Kerstin HOLZHEU joined the Department in 2019 after spending a year as a postdoctoral fellow at the Institute for Fiscal Studies. She is also an IZA Fellow. She defended her PhD in 2018 at the University of Chicago. Prior to joining the University of Chicago, she undertook a MSc in Macroeconomic Policy and Financial Markets from the Barcelona Graduate School of Economics (GSE) and worked as a graduate research assistant at the ECB.
Her work studies labour economics and firm dynamics from the standpoint of applied macroeconomics. In particular, she is interested in the question of employment allocations.
