An article by EAP students published in the Lancet!
The global pandemic has had a huge impact on their lives and their studies. However, the students of Sciences Po’s public policy of global health masters are already looking ahead.
>They were granted an opportunity to do so by Sir. Richard Horton, director of “The Lancet”, a famous medical journal, who was one of the lecturers of their “Global Health Governance” class along with Sciences Po professors Benoît Vallet and Daniel Benamouzig. He asked them to prepare a 500-word correspondence regarding the post-covid world, to be published in the journal.
After hours of intensive debates between a group of 13 students* from various nationalities and academic backgrounds, they came up with a “call for action” that you will find here. Drawing on lessons from the pandemic, both its environmental causes, its consequences on mental health and digitalization, they advocate for a global perspective of health policies in the future, integrating all environmental, mental and social aspects.
