Sciences Po hosted 7 of the most prestigious schools of public affairs in the world: what 31 proposals did the 92 student participants come up with?
The fifth edition of the Public Policy Incubator ended on 16 May. 23 projects were presented by 115 first-year Masters students at Sciences Po. The students showed a great deal of creativity in coming up with solutions.
Pierre Flecheux is a student at the School of Public Affairs in Paris. He is currently in Senegal as part of his gap year, continuing to work on a project. He participated in the SDG certificate last year, on the Senegalese Talibé Children project.
Sciences Po's Gender Equality and Public Policy Certificate offers Masters students a specialisation in this field. Students work in five groups on themes as varied as education, the environment and social networks.
The Public Policy Incubator (IPP) started its academic year on 16 January 2023. This 5th edition started with an intensive week of activities aimed at familiarising students with the methods and tools of public policy design. 115 first-year Master students from the School of Public Affairs are participating in the programme.
The Women's Forum for the Economy and Society Global Meeting 2022 brings together leaders, professionals and students. The aim is to transform the power of women's voices into forward-thinking economic and political initiatives for societal change. 6 students in the Master's programme at SCIENCES Po participated as Youth Ambassadors in the Forum.
The Public Policy Incubator is a program at the core of the School of Public Affairs. Every year from January to May, about 100 first-year Master students gather in groups of 4-6 to tackle a concrete problem. The students will not have for mere objective to form adiagnostic, but to draw from their observation and knowledge learned.
Ten Master 1 students from Sciences Po presented their projects to the European Commission in May 2022. The projects were developed in the framework of the Public Policy Incubator course at Sciences Po. The aim of the course is to create a representative and committed European youth.
Public Policy Incubator (IPP) presented concrete solutions to the challenges of general public interest submitted by 18 public, private and associative partners in this 4th edition. 121 first-year first year students at the School of Public Affairs at the University of Lyon presented their solutions. The solutions presented during this closing day took a wide variety of forms including mobile applications, physical objects, serious games, action programmes, etc.
Camille Chapuis, Coline Dansou, Aurore Pageaud and Carla van Langen are students at the School of Public Affairs of Sciences Po. They are participating in the Gender Equality and Public Policy certificate course. As part of the course they carried out a group project for and with the High Council for Gender Equality, creating a podcast on gender equality.
The SDG Certificate allows students to develop entrepreneurial skills and to work with public policy students from a range of fields. Students benefit from the experience of building and implementing their own interdisciplinary SDGprojects while collaborating with multiple actors at different levels.
Gender and Public Policy Certificate is offered by Sciences Po's Research and Educational Programme on Gender Studies. 31 first-year Master's students attended a series of conferences allowing them to meet committed actors.
121 M1 students from the School of Public.Affairs returned to class for the launch of the fourth edition of the Public.Policy Incubator. The students will have.to propose concrete and operational solutions to 18 challenges of general. interest submitted by public, non-profit or private partners. They were immersed in the heart of the matter with an "immersion week" during which they were able to discover the issues related to innovation and public transformation.
The Public Policy Incubator is open to external partners from the public, private or voluntary sectors who wish to propose common good issues to students. All contributions have to be submitted by the 24th October. The programme will start in January 2022.
154 students from Sciences Po's School of Public Affairs participated in the third edition of the Public Policy Incubator. The students presented the solutions they had devised to respond to the 30 public interest challenges proposed by the Incubators partners.
Clémentine Buisson is in her second year of the Master in Public Policy in France. She alternates between her courses at the School of Public Affairs and managing communication for the gender diversity network of the Banque de France.
This year's SDG cohort began their program with the SDG Leadership Seminar, which took place from 19-22 January 2021. Student teams joined from all over the world, coming from the Sciences Po School of Public Affairs, Columbia SIPA, GraSPP University of Tokyo, and the LKY School National University of Singapore. Throughout the week, they participated in theSDG Innovation Lab and met with experts.
